She was a geek at school, he joined late. He requested her to share her notes so that he could get caught up - she refused. He was determined to be her friend & he succeeded. They bunked classes, watched movies during examinations, burnt mid night oil to catch up, they saved pocket money to buy each other gifts, dined at small road side eateries, copied from each other during examinations, completed each others assignments, competed to be the college toppers in every term exam that there was. No one would dare sit behind her on her bike – It was reserved for him. They had many childish fights – he always made up by buying flowers. Everyone was envious of the friendship they shared.
That was 11 years back. Now he is in London, she in Bangalore. He sings songs for her on the phone for her birthday; she records those songs and listens to them when she is having a bad day. They call each other to share bad days & good news. They understand each others thoughts & moods…complete each others sentences’. They have been fortunate enough to find life partners who understand the friendship they share. They are the luckiest friends on earth.
This Blog is to share each of our days in pictures with each other & our friends. This blog is dedicated to Sil, Roops & Rekha (The crazy & amazing gang that we went to school with) Love you guys!
